FIELD: electroplating in aircraft and automobile and other branches of industry; electrolytic chromium plating of steel parts.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to electroplating, in particular,
to electrolytic chromium plating of steel items in the electrolytes containing ions of Сг III, also may be used for production of coatings on parts of a friction or parts of the hydraulic systems operating under pressure in the items of aircraft, automobile and other branches of industry. The electrolyte contains (in g/l): Сг III - 50-350, Na2C2O4 - 20-30,Na2SO4 - 60-70, NaF - 25-30,A12(SO4) - 3-18, H2 O - 90-110, powderА12О3 - 1- 100. The method provides for a gating of the constant electric current between the anode and the cathode in the electrolyte of the offered composition, where the cathode is a a steel part. The technical result of the invention is an increase of microsolidity of a part and the chromium plating adhesion, a decrease of porosity of the coatings at a high speed of the chromium plating process.
EFFECT: the invention allows to increase microsolidity of the treated parts, adhesion of the chromium plating coatings and speed of the process.
