FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of construction and operation of buildings and structures and may be used to prevent formation of ice crust and icicles on roof edges, which threaten human health, and also clogging of gutters. Stated problem is solved by the fact that in suggested decision drainage gutter is installed at the end of roof slope, and deicing element is installed on roof slope with overlap above drainage gutter and possibility of its blocking, and is made of profiled sheet material, at that profile of sheet material of deicing element is located as mirror to profile of sheet material of roof slope, and upper end of deicing element is covered with snow retainer. Besides, snow retainer is arranged as bent from sheet material with section in the form of open rectangular triangle with folds that create snow retainer base, triangle cathetus is arranged as perpendicular to folding lines, and inclined surface of triangle is arranged at sharp angle to them with tabs and folds. Besides, tabs are arranged with pitch and profile that repeat pitch and profile of roof slope, and hypotenuse and tabs are arranged with perforation. Besides, snow retainer is made of perforated sheet material.

EFFECT: creation of device that makes it possible to more efficiently prevent formation of ice crust, icicles and clogging of gutters.
