FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: arrangement of building and structure roof contains roofing with gutter installed in its bottom part at the distance of at least 0.4 m from the bottom edge of roof surface, deicing cover made in the form of thin-walled coating that covers space between top edge of gutter and bottom edge of roof surface with overlap in relation to the bottom edge of roof surface. Height of gutter is arranged so that it provides angle of deicing cover inclination of at least 45°. Deicing coating is installed with clearance in respect to the bottom edge of rood surface and fixed in elastic supports. Device is equipped with water drainage hoppers and additional gutters.
EFFECT: lower chances of ice crust and icicle formation on the bottom edge of roofing, more intense wind oscillations of deicing cover, melted water discharge beyond roof borders.
