SUBSTANCE: method for drying of wood end blanks for panel cover is characterised by the fact that polymer composition is prepared, which consists of synthetic isoprene rubber - 42.5…55.40%, zinc white - 2.5…2.77%, phthalic anhydride - 0.45…0.55%, stearin - 1.11…2.2%, chalk - 30.50…33.24%, rosin - 2.22…3.2%, paraffin - 2.22…3.2%, technical sulphur - 1.38…2.0%, diphenyl guanidine - 0.83…1.0%, tetra-methyl-thiuram-disulfide - 0.15…0.28%, and is rolled in the form of sheet, wood blanks are made in the form of end blocks or bars with thickness of 5…50 mm, wood blanks are laid in die-mold without bottom, polymer composition sheet is put on them, polymer composition sheet surfaces are coated on one side and end wood blocks on the other side of die mold with cotton cloth for moisture removal and elimination of adhesion between polymer composition and heated press plate, die mold is installed on heated lower plate and is coupled with upper plate, and conductive drying is carried out at the temperature of 145…185°C and pressure of 3…12.5 MPa (30…125 kgf/cm²), combined with operation of blanks moulding in the form of panel with insulating elastic sublayer of polymer composition for finishing of floors and walls, which after vulcanisation may be used as its base.
