FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: in device, error related data are saved in nonvolatile memory or on hard disk which data are linked with error events. Nonvolatile memory or hard disk is read to analyze error. In particular following data is saved at constant time intervals starting from moment of power-up or count beginning: input and output information of digital port (sensors and drives status), analog sensor voltage and analog value of electric motor current. When abnormity occurs, information about port status and voltage value is saved in nonvolatile memory together with abnormity content.
EFFECT: functionality enhancement ensured by registration of error event cause when banknotes are recognised and counted.
