FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: radio frequency harmonic signal is sent to modulator input, modulator is made of reactive quadripole, bipolar controlled element connected to source of low-frequency control signal, quadripole is made of dipoles, load with complex resistance is connected to quadripole output for line modulated radio frequency signals, dipole controlled element is connected between quadripole output and load into longitudinal (serially) circuit, resistance of signal source is selected as complex, number of dipoles is selected as at least three, values of reactive element parameters that shape quadripole dipoles are selected so that preset value of phases φ1,2 of transfer coefficients are provided in the first and second conditions, as well as preset value of module m2 of transfer ratio in the second condition, and also provided that value of module m1 of transfer ratio in the first condition is determined, when physical performability of quadripole is provided, at that specified conditions are realised by preset mathematical expressions. Device comprises above mentioned elements and is designed for realisation of above described method.
EFFECT: provision of line signal amplitude and phase manipulation in two conditions of controlled element at controlled module and phase of transfer ratio in every condition.
