SUBSTANCE: radio frequency harmonic signal is sent to modulator input, modulator is made of reactive quadripole, bipolar controlled element connected to source of low-frequency control signal, quadripole is made of dipoles, at that bipolar controlled element is connected between signal source and quadripole input into longitudinal circuit, load with complex resistance is connected to quadripole output for line modulated radio frequency signals, resistance of signal source is selected as complex, number of dipoles is equal to four, values of reactive element parameters that shape quadripole dipoles are selected so that preset value of phases φ1,2 of transfer coefficients are provided in the first and second conditions, as well as preset values of modules m1 m2 of transfer ratio in the first and second conditions of controlled element, and also provided that value of actual component of load resistance rl is determined, when physical performability of quadripole is provided, at that specified conditions are realised by preset mathematical expressions. Device for modulation of amplitude and phase of radio frequency signals comprises bipolar controlled element, reactive quadripole made of four dipoles in the form of two cascade connected L-shaped links, source of low-frequency control signal, at that values of dipoles resistances are selected to provide required values of phase and modules of transfer ratios in the first and second conditions of controlled elements determined by two extreme values of low-frequency control signal and are determined by preset mathematical expressions.
EFFECT: provision of line signal amplitude and phase manipulation in two conditions of controlled element at controlled module and phase of transfer ratio in every condition.
