FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, psychology, psychotherapy. Patient determines in front of psychotherapist urgent for them somatic or psychological problem. Psychotherapist brings patient into state of meditation and suggests drawing on paper mask reflecting present patient's state and mask reflecting their future on condition of solving set urgent problem, then patient takes mask reflecting their present state and brings it to face at the distance at which they start identifying themselves with said mask. Therapist asks questions to mask in person of patient aimed at determining archetypical image characterising said mask state, after which therapist takes said mask and brings it to their face at the distance at which they start to identify themselves with said mask, mirrors determined in patient archetypical mask content, then therapist tells patient their sensations which appeared in interaction with said mask. Patient asks mask in person of therapist questions of interest which concern different aspects of urgent problem, patient takes mask of future, brings it to face at the distance at which they start identifying themselves with said mask, then therapist asks mask questions in person of patient aimed at determining archetypical image characterising said mask state. After which therapist takes said mask and brings it to their face at the distance at which they start to identify themselves with said mask, mirrors determined in patient archetypical mask content. Then therapist tells patient their sensations which appeared in interaction with said mask, patient asks mask in person of therapist questions of interest which concern different aspects of urgent problem. Therapist brings patient out of meditation state. Then therapist in dialogue with patient without masks stresses positive and negative aspects of problem which patient does not realise, which were determined during work with mask of the present, then stresses positive - determined during work with mask of the future. After that therapist superimposes two masks and hands them to patient, in such way allowing patient to see integral image basing on which positive strategy of patient's behaviour is elaborated. If, being in mask, therapist gives unexpected for patient answer, therapist hands mask to patient, patient brings it to themselves and in dialogue with therapist checks if the answer given by therapist, is acceptable to image created by patient.
EFFECT: method is aimed at elimination of destructive strategies and finding new adaptive forms of behaviour, overcoming created discord, with transition into new space of relationship, allowing to realise main personality tasks basing on integral image of yourself.
