FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in honing cylindrical holes. The proposed honing head comprises a holder, casing, hinge assembly representing two rings arranged aligned with the casing and mating along spherical surfaces. The casing accommodates blocks with abrasive sticks and a sleeve with a recess to house aforesaid hinge assembly aligned with the head vertical axis. The assembly center lies on horizontal axes passing through centers of the said abrasive sticks.

EFFECT: no turning moment, rigid structure, head reliability and higher quality of honing.
