FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to navigation and shipping in the sphere of river and sea communications and is intended to provide ports, navigation channels, waterways of rivers, lakes and seas with reliable navigation facility that makes it possible to navigate ships at any time of the day and under different weather conditions in severe navigation conditions. Method for formation of orientation zones with the help of laser blind-type beacon for navigation of river boats and sea vessels along preset trajectory consists in the fact that two laser beacons are used to generate two laser beams turned vertically, which are synchronously scanned towards each other in azimuthal plane with specified frequency. Beams are superimposed in process of counter motion and form three three-dimensional areas filled with laser radiation and serving for giving accurate course and extent of deviation from it. Zone of synchronous glowing is crossed by beams with growing speed. Growing speed of laser beams displacement in zone of synchronous glowing may correspond to functional connection between beam scanning angle Δφ and its angular speed ω defined according to formula: Δφ/ω=const.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to preserve width of laser beam synchronous glowing zone along the entire way of ship traveling and to increase safety of laser radiation observation, which improves comfort in navigation, since brightness of glowing is proportional to both power of sources and exposition time.
