FIELD: physics, navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation and is intended to provide ports, shipping channels, river waterways, lakes and seas with reliable navigation means, which enable automated guiding of vessels in difficult navigation conditions. To achieve the result, a single integrated computer, simultaneously with information from existing navigation systems, processes information from a coastal radar station received from a blind beacon which is equipped with means of communicating with the coastal radar station, which emits an optical signal which additionally contains information on coordinates and parameters of movement of both the navigator and other vessels moving on the channel, received from the coastal radar station.
EFFECT: safer guiding of sea and river vessels on a given course, including in case of failure or radio jamming of a GLONASS/NAVSTAR satellite navigation system.
