SUBSTANCE: invention can be used while monitoring of industrial process of flux cored wire and provided for definition of components content in the filler of flux cored wire ferro-calcium 60/40 and ferro-calcium 70/30. In the method it is provided interaction of metallic calcium, included into the content of filler, with water with formation of lime. Lime is located in water in the form of suspension, and iron-containing component is kept in invariable form at the bottom. Liquid is pour out, and iron powder sediment is flushed with usage of decantation, dried, weigh, it is implemented measurement complex and it is implemented measurement-processing.

EFFECT: achieving of split-hair accuracy of components content determination in filler of flux cored wire, ability to receive objective evidence about the real content of components in filer and to implement adjustment of filler content and modes of industrial process of flux cored wire, reduction of flux cored wire cull because of discrepancy of its content to regulated content of components.
