FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to production methods of rivet wire from alloys of the system Al-Cu-Mg, used in aerospace industry. Method includes receiving of ingots, its homogenisation and mechanical operation, hot rolling, annealing, cooling and wire drawing in several runs. To homogenisation it is subject ingots of diametre 130-150 mm with content of hydrogen less than 0.25 cm3/100 g of metal and grain size less than 1 mm at temperature 500-525°C during 8-12 hours and following cooling with furnace at a rate of 10-50°C/h till the temperature 250-400°C and upward on air. Mechanical operation of work pieces is implemented till the diametre 100-120 mm, then work pieces are heated till the temperature 370-400°C during 5-8 hours and it is implemented hot rolling till the diametre 8-14 mm with finishing temperature no less than 85°C. After it is implemented annealing at the temperature 390-420°C with duration of 1-3 hours and cooling with furnace at a rate of 20-30°C/h till the temperature 200-250°C then on air. Wire drawing is implemented to finishing wire size with total degree of deformation 0.45-0.65, subjecting to ready wire to low-finish temperature annealing at the temperature 260-280°C with duration of 1-2 hours with following cooling on air.
EFFECT: there are increased metal physical-mechanical properties, ingots structure stability, technological plasticity of ingots and finish wire, shear resistance.
