FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy and, in particular, to wrought alloys based on aluminum and the production of thin wire from them for on-board wires. Alloy based on aluminum contains, wt.%: zirconium 0.25-0.45, hafnium 0.10-0.25, erbium ≤0.10 and/or ytterbium ≤0.10, titanium ≤0.05, manganese ≤0.05, chromium ≤0.05, iron ≤0.30, silicon ≤0.20, aluminum - the rest. Aluminum alloy wire is produced by casting ingots-billets by a continuous method into an electromagnetic crystallizer of small diameter at a temperature not lower than 830°C, ensuring the cooling rate of the melt in the crystallization temperature range of more than 100 deg/s, the resulting ingots are subjected to severe plastic deformation, followed by annealing at a temperature 400°C for 2 hours, and then at 300°C - 10 hours.
EFFECT: creation of an alloy and obtaining from it a wire with high thermal strength, electrical conductivity and thermal stability while reducing the duration of the technological process of its production.
