FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry and can be used to determine the amount of water in has well products by feeding gas into working chamber (WC). The WC pressure stabilised, gas, fed thereto, is isolated by consecutively closing control valves, first, at the WC outlet manifold and, second, at its inlet manifold. Then the gas relative humidity is measured at the WC top and bottom by sorption-electric-capacity moisture meters (ECM) fitted on the WC top and bottom flat walls. Note here that, in case relative humidity at the WC top and bottom parts are equal and make less than 100%, it is taken to be the gas relative humidity. Is the WC bottom features relative humidity equal to 100%, WC is heated up till both WC bottom and top display equal gas relative humidity and less than 100%. Is the ECM measurements results after heating the WC top and bottom show unequal relative humidity not equal to and less than 100%, the gas relative humidity is determined from gas density by hydrostatic method proceeding from pressure difference at the WC top and bottom and fixed heated gas temperature. The proposed device comprises pressure and temperature control appliances and pulse tube furnished with pressure differential pickup. Filled with reference fluid and communicated with WC top and bottom points formed by WAC horizontal flat walls. The WC outer wall accommodates a heating element to heat gas sample in WC and to evaporate fluid from the WC walls and bottom. The WC inlet manifold communicates with service opening intended for mounting well pressure gage and its outlet manifold communicates with atmosphere.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measuring gas moisture content provided for by feeding gas from well into working chamber.
