FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: dose of 1 to 2 mg/ml octacation zinc phthalocyanine mixture with gel stuff is injected into conjunctival cavity. Then lesion zone is exposed to laser radiation of wavelength 675 nm and power density 20 mW/cm2. Videofluorescent image obtained is registered, spots of interest being chosen. Whereupon spectroscopy is conducted, and degree of injury is assessed in each point, basing on fluorescence intensity in this point.
EFFECT: method allows visualisation of whole injury zone and quantitative judgment of injury, with possibility of abnormal changes degree and nature gradation in the cornea.
