FIELD: medicine; orthopaedics.
SUBSTANCE: external fixation apparatus is applied with overlapping the hip joint. The nails are inserted into femoral neck. Proximal femur is osteotomised. Retrotorsion angle is eliminated with varus correction ensured by forming V-regenerate and distraction of pelvic support and the apparatus. It is followed with tenomyotomy of adductor muscles and oblique Gant's femoral osteotomy with excising the proximal end of distal fragment and forming V-shaped external edge defect. Herewith femur is cut to the middle diametre. The V-shaped defect angle is equal to one-stage varus correction angle. Osteoperforation of supraacetabular region is followed, if required, with postoperative normal correction of proximal femur in the external fixation apparatus. Hip varus subcorrection rate relates to hip joint unload rate.
EFFECT: method allows preventing fragment displacement.
