FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely pediatric orthopedics. Femoral osteotomy is performed directly under the greater trochanter parallel to the axis of the femoral neck and parallel to the first osteotomy directly under the small trochanter followed by medialization of the proximal fragment formed by osteotomy by 2/3 of the femoral diaphysis diameter. Formed defect is filled by moving to the lateral surface of the proximal femur of an autograft formed of a hypertrophied greater trochanter thus ensuring compliance of sizes and shape of the autograft with bone defect and preservation of an individual upper part of a greater trochanter. Achieved position of the bone fragments is recorded with the help of a compression plate and screws. Then upper part of greater trochanter is displaced into its anatomically correct location and fixed with screws.
EFFECT: invention provides avoiding limb shortening and joint function recovery, considerably reducing length of rehabilitation period due to early activation and preservation of attachment points of muscles to large and small trochanter.
