NATURAL TYMPANIC DIAPHRAGM AND ADITUS FISTULA BLOCK SURGICAL CORRECTION FOLLOWED WITH DRAINING IN PATIENTS SUFFERING FROM EXUDATIVE OTITIS MEDIA Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61F11/00 

FIELD: medicine; otorhinolaryngology.

SUBSTANCE: substance of the method consists in inspection of atticoantral region followed with draining. It is combined with operating microscope guided Rosen's incision of acoustic meatus skin through external acoustic meatus 12 to 19 o'clock making the distance 0.5 cm from fibrous ring. Meatotympanic flap is folded back with complete inspection and sanitation of tympanic cavity thereafter being drained including natural fistula of tympanic diaphragm and aditus with a notched silicon tube installed in specially formed bone bed within anteroinferior angle of external acoustic meatus for meatotympanic flap. Said notched tube is delivered proral through mesotympanumto posterior attic and aditus.

EFFECT: wide approach to tympanic diaphragm, performed antrodrainage and prevented postoperative recurrent cicatrical atticoantral block.
