SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to stable composition for caring for oral cavity, which contains peroxide source and aromatising system, and to method of such composition stabilisation. Composition is stabilised by removal or reduction of content in composition of metals, which possess potential to form radicals in reaction with peroxide. Preferably, metals, which are removed or content of which is reduced are cobalt, copper, palladium, nickel and iron. In order to remove said metals composition is brought into interaction with material, which makes it possible to extract metals by passing liquid composition through padding from said material, or by treating said material with liquid composition with filtering out resin/polymer, containing said metals. As material for metal extraction cation-exchanging resins, polymer-based filtering discs and polymer-based chelating agents can be used. Compositions can be stabilised for long term by addition of preparations which have absorbing or suppressing free radicals activity.

EFFECT: reduction of activity of free radicals in matrix of medication for oral cavity care prevents radical-mediated loss and decomposition of peroxide and other ingredients, in particular, fragrances, which ensures preservation of medication efficiency, esthetic qualities and taste.
