FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve gates, particularly, to the valve gate assembly designed to control flow rate of melt material fed into the mold chamber. Note here that it comprises a movable valve that can travel between the positions of complete opening and closing. The driving system comprises a drive coupled with the valve and position pickup connected with the latter. Note also that the driving system interacts with the valve to move it and set to whatever position between aforesaid complete opening and closing positions.
EFFECT: producing valve gate, neither pneumatic nor hydraulic, that is relatively fast operated and can be set into preset position between complete opening and closing positions to improve control over flow rate of melt material fed into mould.
