FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and may be used, in particular, in converters. Sliding shutter 1 comprises structural frame 3 arranged at the point of metal flushing from vessel and shutoff assembly. Said structural frame 3 accommodates bottom plate 5 and second bottom plate 6. Refractory slide gate plate 9 with adjoining refractory discharge barrel 9 is tightly pressed against bottom plate by springs 11. Container 4 may displace in structural frame across direction of shutoff assembly displacement from initial position whereat bottom plate 5 stays in working position into end position whereat second bottom plate 6 gets into working position.
EFFECT: fast replacement of bottom plate.
