FIELD: automobile production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automobile production industry, namely to methods of brake torque changing control of retarder. Changing of brake torque is adjusted with the help of work pressure control circuit with build-in pressure sensor. Method consists of the following stages: dynamic definition of work pressure of retarder with the help of work pressure control circuit with build-in pressure sensor, comparison of time characteristics of definite working pressure with preliminary specified nominal parametre, regarding the result of actual and nominal characteristics comparison at fulfillment of preliminary specified criteria there is a warning and/or prevention of the following retarder engaging by the user.
EFFECT: security provision of brake torque preliminary specified changing control method, the possibility of this method application in the existing general systems of retarder without additional significant expenses or, namely, without additional units usage.
