SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to composition of cast iron. Cast iron contains components in a following ratio, wt %: carbon 2.9-3.5; silicon 0.8-1.2; manganese 0.5-1.0; nickel 1.4-1.6; barium 0.002-0.003; cerium 0.1-0.14; tin 0.001-0.002; cobalt 0.9-1.1; zirconium 0.12-0.16; indium 0.07-0.11, iron - the rest.
EFFECT: increasing of cast iron bending strength.
