FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making, particularly, to the design of solid-state wave gyro-sensing elements intended for determining angular drift in flying vehicle navigation devices, as well as in drilling equipment. The cylindrical resonator edge features, all over its diametre, the orifices with the radius equal to ¼ of the cylinder wall thickness and the depth equal to half the cylinder radius. The said orifices are arranged at the distance from each other equal to thrice their radius, the orifices axes being parallel to the cylinder generatrix.
EFFECT: reduced heat flows between various zones of metal resonator originating when resonator oscillates and affecting oscillation power that causes lower resonator Q-factor.
