SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elastic body manufacture, particularly tubular elastic body with radial cavities to be used inside pillows, mattresses and arm-chair cushions and etc. According to the invention, the method of elastic tubular body manufacture provides for staged process including making slots in foam material layer, cutting foam material band and bending at opposite to each other ends. Both far ends are fixed so that needed tubular elastic body is produced. At least part of cells in the foam material is opened by pressing. The foam material layer is made from visco-elastic foam material.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at extending elastic body lifetime avoiding losses of its properties.
