FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to medicine, namely to neurosurgery. Having applied sutures on pachymeninx, test pressure boost in neurolymth system is conducted. Therefore low part of the neck of the patient is seized, and cervical veins are compressed with the first and the second fingers of both arms within 5-10 seconds. In case of liquorrhea from the defect spot, the defect is eliminated, and test is repeated; if there is no liquorrhea, wound is sutured in layers.
EFFECT: method increases reliability of the estimate of the hermiticity of closure of pachymeninx.
