FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, and ceramic materials for plastic reconstruction of damaged osseous tissues. Chemical composition of the material is similar to natural corals and is obtained from calcium carbonate powder and additive in amount of 0.5-20 wt %. Material with regular microstructure, low porosity and high durability is formed by annealing process.
EFFECT: absence of harmful admixtures, high mechanical properties and accessible source materials in comparison to natural corals, facilitating wide application of claimed material in filling cavities in osseous tissues, including bones under complex stress.
