FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining porous calcium pyrophosphate for application in medicine. Method includes preparation of initial powder mixture, which contains calcium carbonate and ammonium hydrophosphate, moulding of workpieces and their burning. Calcium carbonate and ammonium hydrophosphate are applied with molar ratio, selected from the interval 0.5-0.7, and burning of moulded workpieces is carried out in the interval 800-900°C for 1-3 hours. Calcium carbonate is preferably obtained by method of chemical depositing from water solutions of calcium acetate and ammonium hydrocarbonate with concentration 0.5-2.5 M.
EFFECT: porosity of calcium pyrophosphate, obtained according to the claimed method, constitutes 80-90%.
