FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method of producing composite material for bone defect replacement, involving: preparation of powder mixture containing powder of alpha-Ca3(PO4)2; preparing paste with addition of tempering liquid in form of an aqueous solution containing carbonate ions; moulding samples or articles from paste; hydrolytic treatment of samples or articles in aqueous solution containing carbonate-ions, and drying. According to invention powder mixture additionally contains calcium oxide in ratio of weight of CaO to weight of alpha-Ca3(PO4)2 in range of 0.11-0.43, concentration of [CO3 2-] in tempering liquid is 0.9M-1.1M at ratio of tempering liquid/weight of powder in range of 0.8-1.0, moulding is performed at pressure of pressing 100-450 MPa, hydrolytic conversion is carried out in an aqueous solution with concentration of [CO3 2-] in range 0.9M-1.1M for 12-120 hours at temperature in range of 30-60 °C. Calcite content in composite material with high rate of resorption is 17-53 wt%, grain size in obtained material is 100-500 nm, density is within range 2.1-2.3 g/cm3, and strength is 80-100 MPa.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing composite material for bone defect replacement.
