FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: body of solid propellant rocket engine comprises force solid-wound shell of low extension of "cocoon" type and cylindrical shell with joint units. Force shell is connected with cylindrical shell with the help of tapes. Medium part of tapes is fixed by zonal spiral layer on force shell, and ends of tapes from front and back bottoms are inverted relative to borders of zonal spiral layer in directions of back and front joint units accordingly and are fixed on cylindrical shell. All parts of tape are installed at the angle to longitudinal axis of body defined from ratio defended by the present invention.
EFFECT: increased reliability of rocket engine body design of low extension due to provision of high strength of force and cylindrical body shells fixation.
