FIELD: physics; measurements.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to measuring techniques and can be used in location and geodesic instrument making and is mainly meant for use in measuring angular coordinates of moving objects. The electronic digital device for measuring angular coordinates contains an objective 1, of an observation channel, photodetector 2, for the observation channel, made in form of a photodector matrix 3, information readout device 4, the input bus of which is connected to electric outputs of the photodetector matrix 3, and an analogue-to-digital converter 5, the data input and synchro input of which are connected to the output and synchro input of the information readout device 4, respectively. The device also contains a monitor adapter 6, information logging device 7, unit 8 for taking readings, unit 9 for controlling and converting information, containing synchronisation unit 10, code converter 11 and a time-to-number converter 12, first and second angle-to-digit converters 13 and 14, read out unit 15, with a vertical disc, supporting and turning device 16, elevating mechanism 17, which contains a vertical disc 18, with a code track, traversing mechanism 19, which contains a horizontal disc 20, with a code track, unit 21 for reading out from the horizontal disc, monitor 22 and a remote control device 23.

EFFECT: making remote measurement of angular coordinates of moving objects, for example aircraft.
