FIELD: physics; radio.
SUBSTANCE: use of the protective cupola made from radiotransparent elastic air-tight material and pumping hot air into the cavity, formed by the outer surface of a cover made from radiotransparent material and the inner surface of the protective cupola, allows for reducing adhesion between the outer surface of the protective cupola and snow and ice and break them into pieces, which, under the effect of their own weight, slide on the outer surface of the protective cupola, after which they fall down. The inner surface of the protective cupola contains N retaining sections, joined to the outer surface of the cover made from radiotransparent material. These sections are uniformly arranged on the outer surface of the protective cupola, where N is a positive integer.
EFFECT: protection of microwave antennae from adverse meteorological and other factors.
