FIELD: physics; image processing.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to television and can be used in making application systems, and particularly for space-time processing images. Proposed is a device for space-time processing images based on matrices of photosensitive charge-coupled devices, which also comprises the following: beam splitting system, second obturator, mutual displacement device and a device for measuring level of illumination, providing for conversion of the average level of illumination of the projected image into an electrical signal for adapting the device to changes in viewing conditions. The device for measuring level of illumination can be a semiconductor photoelectric transducer, which converts the projected light flux into an electrical signal, the level of which is proportional to the average illumination. In accordance with the signal level at the output of the device for measuring level of illumination, the processing device is adapted viewing conditions.

EFFECT: space-time processing of images simultaneously with its creation while providing for adaptation to the level of illumination and prevention of distortions of the processing results, related to overfilling of potential wells of the matrix of the photosensitive charge-coupled device.
