FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely otorhinolaryngology and can be applied in surgery of chronic diseases of nose, paranasal sinuses and pharynx in children. Substance of the method consists in physical examination of ear, nose and throat and X-ray inspection and one-stage surgery planning. Herewith there is prescribed computed tomographic scanning of paranasal sinuses area to detect pathologically changed paranasal sinuses and intranasal structures. General anaesthesia is applied and followed with sequential and one-stage septoplasty within 15 minutes; middle turbinate correction within 5 minutes; endoscopic surgery if paranasal sinuses, tonsillotomy or tonsillectomy, endoscopic adenotomy within 9 minutes; inferior turbinate correction within 5 minutes. Finger-type tampons are inserted for 1 day, 6 days later stitches are removed with discharging the patient from hospital for out-patient care.
EFFECT: application of present invention allows reducing number of operative interventions, operation length and treatment time in patients suffering from chronic diseases of nose, paranasal sinuses and pharynx by certain sequence of interconnected operative stages.
