FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used in stopping haemorrhage accompanying adenotomy in adults and children. Apparatus for stopping bleeding during adenotomy is presented in the form of a tube made of rubber with a balloon at a distal working end. Tube is bent along the anatomical nasopharyngeal structure and has at distance of 150 mm a straight distal working end with length of 30 mm, oriented at angle of 90° to its longitudinal axis. On the proximal end of the tube there is a connecting element for filling the balloon. Tube is equipped with a rigid base-conductor allowing inserting the device transorally during the operation.

EFFECT: achieved with the implementation of the above device technical result is the possibility of fast stopping of nasopharyngeal bleeding in a simple, in terms of implementation, transoral by performing surgical treatment, haemostasis of all hard-to-reach areas of the nasopharynx (arch nasopharynx, an area of the mouth of the auditory tube, a plowshare bone).
