Abstract RU 2358694 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and covers therapy of progressive myopia in children, combined with gastroduodenitis. Within 10 days, the head region is exposed to pulse low-frequency electromagnetic field distantly through the radiator distanced 20-30 cm from the patient eyes, and field intensity within exposure zone is 1-2 mV/cm2. The daily field at the same frequency is at least 9 minutes. Pulse repetition rate varies daily within 40 - 60 - 80 - 60 - 40 - 60 - 80 - 60 - 40 - 60 Hz.

EFFECT: disclosed method provides stabilisation of clinical refraction, reduces tensile stress in myopic sclera, and ensures therapeutic effect on the condition of gastrointestinal tract.
