FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and covers treating progressive myopia combined with extraocular pathology in the form of chronic tonsillitis in children. During 10 days, head region is exposed to pulse low-frequency electromagnetic field distantly via a radiator distanced 20-30 cm from the patient's eyes with field intensity within exposure area being 1-2 mV/cm2. The daily one-frequency field exposition is at least 9 minutes. Pulse repetition frequency varies daily as 40 - 60 - 80 - 60 - 40 - 60 - 80 - 60 - 40 - 60 Hz.
EFFECT: invention provides stabilisation of clinical refraction, reduces scleral tension of myopic eye, and enables therapeutic effect on inflammatory processes in tonsil tissue.
