FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to quantum electronics and may be used in creation of laser homing, navigation and direction finding systems. Gas laser with intracavity scanning of radiation comprises optic resonator created by annular ring mirror having concentric configuration in equatorial plane, stable symmetric configuration in axial plane and is equipped with reflection coating on internal surface of ring mirror, at that on one half of mirror perimetre coating provides for complete reflection, and on other half - partial reflection. Device also comprises system of high-frequency excitation of active medium to scanning device arranged in the form of two parallel metal high-frequency electrodes, at that high-frequency electrodes are made in the form of round flat parallel metal discs, on one of them, which is coated with layer of dielectric, current-conducting wedge-shaped paths are applied, being oriented in radial direction from central circular area with diametre d to external edge of disc electrode of D diametre, at that all pairs of diametrically opposite paths in one or several neighbouring pairs are connected to negative pole of "dropping" DC voltage source, and in mode of continuous scanning "nulling wave" of negative potential is shifted along chain of paths to this or that side.
EFFECT: expansion of scanning sector up to 180°, and also imparting laser mode of continuous angular deviation within the limits of specified sector.
