FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: laser comprises active medium, source of electromagnetic excitation energy, device to generate electromagnetic excitation field and optical resonator. Device to generate electromagnetic excitation field consists of flat, round, metal disc high-frequency electrode with hole in centre and dielectric plate. Resonator is formed with two mirrors arranged in the form of closed rings, a common axis of which matches axis of metal disc electrode. Circular mirror of larger size frames disc electrode along external edge and has a reflecting coating on inner surface, and circular mirror of smaller size frames disc electrode along edge of central hole and has a reflecting coating on outer surface. Specified plate has a hole in the centre and N radial strip metal high-frequency electrodes of wedge shape applied onto its surface and joined via commutator with source of electromagnetic energy of excitation and source of information signals. At the same time both sources are connected with a separate strip electrode (for instance, k) or group of two neighbouring strip electrodes, for instance (i, i+1) and (N-1, N), forming radially directed beams of induced radiation, modulated with identical or various information signals with simultaneous autonomous control of each beam orientation in azimuthal plane.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities.
