FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to electrical engineering and can be used for synchronising synchronous generators connected to mains. In the synchronisation method frequency of the voltage of the excited synchronous machine is regulated in the direction approaching the mains frequency. Phase difference is measured and the excited synchronous machine is connected to the mains when the phases coincide. On the first sub-interval for regulating movement of the rotor of the synchronised generator, there is shifting to the zero value, determining boundary and intermediate shifting values for this sub-interval using formulae, given in the application materials. On the second regulation sub-interval, phase difference values are measured for further movement of the rotor of the synchronised generator and regulated in accordance with movement of the rotor of the synchronised generator, determining boundary and intermediate shifting values using other expressions given in the application materials. On the third sub-interval, phase difference is regulated in accordance with movement of the rotor of the synchronised generator until attaining zero values of shifting and phase difference at the end of the entire regulation interval, determining boundary and intermediate shifting values, using the third expressions, given in the application materials. After that the synchronous machine is connected in parallel to the mains.

EFFECT: increased information content, operational speed, efficiency and accuracy.
