FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to field of the high-performance method of hexanitrohexaazaisowurzitane (HAW) synthesis, in particular to the reaction of dehydrobenzylation-acylation using bimetallic palladium catalyst and to the method of the said reaction implementation. The catalyst for tetraacetyldiformylhexaazaisowurzitane preparation by the dehydrobenzylation-acylation of hexabenzylhexaazaisowurzitane is based on palladium which content is not less than 6 wt %, one or two metals of VIIIb group which content is not less than 1.5 wt % and carbon carrier. The method for preparation of the catalyst and tetraacetyldiformylhexaazaisowurzitane is described.
EFFECT: enhancing of the catalyst stability against decontamination processes.
