FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering of organic compounds, specifically to a method for reductive debenzylation of 2,6,8,12-tetraacetyldibenzyl hexaazaisowurtzitane, involving substitution of two benzyl groups with hydrogen in a reductive medium on a palladium catalyst in the presence of an acid, characterised by that reduction is carried out with molecular hydrogen on a heterogeneous catalyst and the support for the active catalyst is made through successive deposition onto granular α-aluminium oxide of, first, γ-aluminium oxide and then pyrocarbon. The active catalyst - hydroxo-complexes of palladium - is deposited on the surface of pyrocarbon.
EFFECT: novel method for reductive debenzylation of 2,6,8,12-tetraacetyldibenzyl hexaazaisowurtzitane, where the use of said support greatly reduces catalyst disintegration, loss thereof during filtration and ensures high output of the end product.
