FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry field. Immersible sleeve contains bottom, implemented in the bottom part of sleeve outlet side channels and petticoat, fixed on bottom part of sleeve higher the specified channels. Petticoat is formed by two parallel plane surfaces, smoothly interconnected by ends of cylindrical surface. Sleeve is located in the center of petticoat and allows two opposite located identical outlet side channels with single longitudinal axis, forming with parallel flat surface of petticoat angle, equal to 20…45°.
EFFECT: it is achieved improvement of continuously-cast slabs ml with correlation of blank section width to its height more than 3.
