FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to methods of producing alloys based on vanadium, and can be used to produce high-quality compositions based on it with titanium and chromium, intended for nuclear power engineering. Method of producing three-layer material steel X17H2 – V-4.9Ti-4.8Cr – steel X17H2 includes application of vanadium alloy plate V-4.9Ti-4.8Cr with laser surfacing of powder of corrosion-resistant steel X17H2 with dispersion of 50–150 mcm and with mass flow rate 20–25 g/min, at that, laser build-up is performed by laser beam with power of 950–1,200 W and diameter of 1.6–2.0 mm.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of process due to elimination of additional thermomechanical operations.
