FIELD: fire safety engineering.

SUBSTANCE: prior to erection of main and additional links, protective Y-shaped link is erected in mine with internal channel with the possibility of its overlapping with door rotating in hinges and opening to the side from fire zone. On cantilever side of door metal mesh is fixed, at that other end of mesh is fixed on link. Width of door is accepted as higher than width b, where b is width of internal channel in link, m. Expanding part of internal channel of Y-shaped link is directed to the side from fire zone. Maximum angle f of door opening relative to plane of protective link is accepted as equal to 85°. Angle of walls inclination in expanding part of internal channel of link in vertical plane is accepted as equal to 70-75°. Width b is accepted as not more than 0.25 M, where M is mine width. Length of internal channel L in link is accepted as equal to 1.31, where l is length of explosion shock wave, m.

EFFECT: increased safety of fire extinguishing in closed spaces, reduction of possible pecuniary loss.
