FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: operating method of thermal power plant, according to which heat carrier is generated in the boiler, includes the following: incoming water is processed in deaerator, flash steam generated during deaeration is cooled in flash steam condenser, and gas supplied to the boiler is used as cooling medium for flash steam cooling after gas pressure reduction device.

EFFECT: improving economy of thermal power plant owing to decreasing heat losses with deaerator flash steam, improving combustion process due to gas heating before boiler burners, and absence of additional power consumption required for supplying cooling medium to flash steam condenser.
