FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device for converting heat energy into mechanical energy includes heat exchange chamber with working members installed therein and possessing expansion property during heating, hydraulic accumulator, hydraulic engine, electric generator, electric motor, cleaning outlet gas chamber connected by pipelines to heat exchange chamber, and point of alternating supply of heated gases and ambient air. In addition, to the device there connected is S-shaped plate that is installed in lower part of cylinder divided into two halves and that is made from material having shape memory and that expands during heating with heated gases and returns to initial position during cooling and transmits pressure through the stock to the piston sealed with a ring. Piston is located in upper part of cylinder and exerts pressure on working fluid located thereabove and flowing through hydraulic accumulator to hydraulic engine, and in upper part of cylinder there installed is a check valve for returning working fluid back to cylinder.
EFFECT: device allows increasing efficiency.
