FIELD: energy conversion.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for energy conversion and can be used in the energy sector and in transport. The device for converting thermal energy into mechanical and electrical energy includes a cylinder 1 divided into two parts, a heat exchange chamber 3 located in its lower part with an S-shaped plate 4 made of a shape memory material installed in it, a rod 5 with a piston 8 located in the upper part of the cylinder 1 filled with working fluid and connected by a pipeline 11 to a hydraulic motor 12. The pipeline 11 is connected to an energy-generating main 15 filled with a ferromagnetic liquid, containing elastic diaphragms 14, 16 and in the middle part made in the form of a cylinder 17 of non-magnetic material, around which the winding 18 of an electric generator is installed, an annular permanent magnet 19 is placed concentrically.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at expanding the functionality of the device, which has low wear, a high service life, a simplified design.
