SUBSTANCE: presented is a non-rewritable recording medium, as well as the method and device for controlling defective zones on the said recording medium. The method involves replacing the defective zone with a replacement zone, located in the reserve zone, as well as recording time control information and access information for the time control information in the control zone, located in the initial region of the recording medium. The time control information indicates location of the defective zone and location of the replacement zone, corresponding to this defective zone, and access information contains location information, which indicates location of the time control information, recorded in the time control zone.
